Edukasi Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI Terhadap Pertumbuhan Perkembangan Pada Bayi Usia 6-12 Bulan

Abstract

Growth and development is a process that usually occurs in living things. Growth and development are all aspects that occur from the progress achieved from in the womb to adulthood. Poor feeding of infants results in various nutritional disorders in infants, namely the occurrence of stunting in infants which results in stunted growth and development of infants. complementary breastfeeding that is not in accordance with what it should be and the frequency of MP-ASI is less than it should be. The purpose of the community service activities carried out is to provide information to all mothers, especially mothers who have babies who are at the Antang Health Center, in order to understand the benefits of giving MP-ASI on growth and development at the age of 6-12 months, so that their energy and nutritional needs are met. . This counseling is carried out door to door using the lecture method and question and answer to the patient. The activity was carried out on April 14, 2021 with a total of 12 participants (mothers with babies). The results obtained from this activity are that everything we provide education gives a good response, even one of the participants asked for further activities regarding demonstrators in food processing MP-ASI.
