Abstract

The puerperium is a critical period for mothers and babies because of the possibility of problems and complications during the puerperium. Therefore, during the puerperium, one of the most important things is how the postpartum mother is able to expel her milk during the puerperium. Breast milk production can increase or decrease depending on the stimulation of the breast glands. Factors that can affect the formation and production of breast milk include the mother's diet, the sucking of the baby and the frequency of breastfeeding. The purpose of the community service activities carried out is to provide information to all postpartum mothers at the Kassi-Kassi Health Center to provide exclusive breastfeeding to their babies and pay attention to the smoothness of their breastfeeding by consuming Moringa leaf extract. Counseling was carried out using the door to door discussion method in each patient's room. The activity was carried out on November 8, 2021 with the number of postpartum mothers visited, namely 7 people. The results obtained from this activity were that all postpartum mothers we visited were very receptive to the education that had been conveyed, some even immediately applied the use of Moringa leaf extract as the main solution in overcoming their lack of breast milk.
